Bringing the OR legacy to new policy challenges

Bringing the OR legacy to new policy challenges

Free Event 12th December.

Posted

3 December 2013

Bringing 50 years of Operations Research theory and practice to the launch of a new network of policy makers and practitioners.

This event on 12th December is the second in this IOR project supported by The Tavistock Institute. 50 years ago the Institute and the IOR sponsored an OR programme of work within the Tavistock Institute which addressed policy messes such as divided accountability which remain relevant to policy and practice today. An important and well-used body of theory and practice is the basis for launching a new network and applications are welcomed.
