We are social science practitioners, strongly knowledge-based and committed to innovation. We bring rigour, reflection and thoughtfulness to support our clients’ learning in discovering how to adapt to change.

We work with clients not to take their problems away, but to help them understand and tackle them.

Our Staff

We have an international team of consultants and researchers who draw on a range of social science disciplines, theoretical frameworks and approaches, and practical experience. In addition to staff working directly with clients we have editorial staff work who work on the Human Relations and Evaluation journals. Our support staff provide business, finance, information management and administrative support.

Governance

The institute is a not-for-profit organisation. The governing body of the Institute is the Tavistock Association. It meets once a year and appoints the Council of Trustees.
