Shaun Doidge MSc; BSc (Hons)

Shaun recently joined the Tavistock Institute in April 2009 as a Researcher / Consultant.

Shaun’s academic background is firmly rooted within psychology; with a BSc (Hons) in Psychology with Sociology (2007) and MSc in Occupational Psychology (2008).

The majority of Shaun’s previous research has focused upon employee’s reaction to organisational change and the consequences that this has upon the individual employee.

Shaun also has a passion for organisational development and for improving organisational effectiveness, with a particular interest in diagnosing problems and creating practical and pragmatic solutions.

Another keen interest of Shaun’s is evaluation, which primarily stemmed from a piece of work exploring the training methods used for young pharmacists who were being taught how to administer prescription drugs appropriately.

Shaun has experience in conducting research in the public, private and charity sectors within the UK and enjoys the complex challenges that each possess.

With a keen interest in methodological design, Shaun is experienced in quantitative, qualitative and mixed approaches to research. He is paticually keen on qualitative research methods especially interpretative phenomenological analysis, and maintains a collaborative approach between client and himself throughout his work.
