Three groups are responsible for the governance and management of the Institute: The Tavistock Institute Association, the Council of the Institute and The Management Team.
The Tavistock Association
The Tavistock Institute Association is the formal owner of the Institute.

The Council of trustees is responsible to it for the strategic direction and governance of the Institute.

The Management Team
The Management Team is lead by the Institute´s CEO Eliat Aram. The management team structure includes Fiddy Abraham, Coreene Archer, Camilla Child, Judy Corlyon, Dione Hills, Kerstin Junge, John Mulryan, Juliet Scott and Mannie Sher.
