Claire Sandamas
Claire Sandamas is a senior researcher and evaluator at the Tavistock Institute. Claire has an MSc in Social Research Methods (University of Surrey, 1998) and an MSc in Occupational and Organizational Psychology (University of East London, 2001). Claire’s areas of domain expertise and interest are in inter and intra-organizational relations, culture and change issues; and the experiences of socially excluded/marginalised groups, in particular with regard to accessing public services, and employment.
Working for the Tavistock Institute since 1999, Claire has project managed a number of large scale long term European and UK based evaluation and research projects, under the broad umbrella of social inclusion, including for example:- Evaluation of a New Young Persons Substance Misuse Service; Health and Educational Support for the Rehabilitation of Offenders; and Evaluation of the Programme of Community Action to Encourage Cooperation Between Member States to Combat Social Exclusion. With a keen interest in methodological design, Claire is experienced in both quantitative and qualitative approaches, and adopts a systems and stakeholder perspective within her work.
