Operations Manager
Coreene Archer
I am the Operations Manager of the Tavistock Institute of Human Relations (TIHR) and a part of its Group Relations team. I have worked here since 2007 and bring a rich mixture of skills to this role as an experienced manager and leader having worked predominantly in the public and voluntary sectors. I have worked on a number of youth community projects, managing projects on collaboration and team working alongside a variety of stakeholders to ensure that needs and aims are met.
In my manager role I oversee the smooth operation of a variety of systems, including some which are hidden and I need to have an eye for the interface between the technical and human aspects of our organisational life which helps me also in developing my role in the Group Relations arena. My background in Arts informs my approach to work and life and helps me approach my role creatively and laterally.
I bring to the Institute a strong interest in faith in the community and the dialectic between place and identity; I continually make links between those to all aspects of my work.
