Options for Participating in The Tavistock Institute’s Advanced Organisational Change & Consulting (AOC) Programme
From September 2009, participants in the AOC programme can choose from three options.
The Tavistock Institute’s Qualification in Advanced Organisational Change & Consulting.
Participants enrol through The Tavistock Institute & meet all requirements for the Qualification.
- Participants attend all modules and participate in virtual learning events.
- Participants have a Designated Core Faculty available electronically throughout the programme.
- Participants complete a written case report to demonstrate what they have learned from a change management or consulting situation.
- Graduates may attend a Qualification Ceremony held in the early summer of the year immediate after completion.
Postgraduate Diploma in Advanced Organisational Change & Consulting.
Participants register as PG Diploma students through City University while simultaneously working for The Tavistock Institute’s Qualification.
- All written assignments are assessed and marked by faculty via joint academic procedures between the Institute and the University.
- Students have an Academic Advisor available electronically who will read and comment on a draft of the written case report prior to submission.
- Students complete a written case report to demonstrate what they have learned from a change management or consulting situation, which is assessed through the Institute-University procedures.
- In addition to the Qualification Ceremony, graduates may attend City University’s ceremony held in early summer of the graduating year.
M.A. in Advanced Organisational Change & Consulting.
Participants register as master’s degree students through City University while simultaneously working for The Tavistock Institute’s Qualification.
- Students attend two, one-day ‘research workshops’ scheduled immediately prior to two modules.
- Students meet twice with an Academic Advisor who also provides supervision for an MA dissertation.
- Students complete a 15,000 word (35 double-spaced pages) dissertations.
- In addition to the Qualification Ceremony, graduates may attend City University’s ceremony held in early summer of the graduating year.
