The Business School is a welcoming community of staff and students working in partnership to provide high-quality education, research, and business engagement.

The principle of excellence and innovation inform all the activities of the School. Teaching, learning, research and knowledge exchange have a strong outward looking emphasis aimed at connecting the educational dimension with the business and organisational life. This is achieved through a series of schemes, programmes and activities (e.g. placements, professional accreditations, funded research and consultancy mainly with small and medium enterprises) and partnerships with organisations in a variety of sectors and industries at home and abroad.

Being a partner in the TIHR Archive Project is part of the ethos and goals of the School.
