The Tavistock Institute in partnership with the Health Services Management Centre (HSMC) part of the School of Social Policy at the University of Birmingham has been commissioned by NHSIII to design and deliver a one-day pilot seminar on evaluation, targeted at NHS Live members who are running or will be running an improvement project.

The aim of the workshop is:

  • To provide a basic understanding of what NHS Live Members can do to evidence the impact of their work;
  • To provide a workbook resource on incorporating evaluation into everyday practice; and
  • To derive from the seminar materials, a checklist that can be placed on the NHS Live website for use of other NHS Live members who are considering how to gather evidence of the impact of their improvement projects.
