Juliet Scott

Juliet Scott is Principal Organisational Consultant at the Tavistock Institute, Director of the Practitioner Certificate in Consulting and Change, Business Development Curator, and an artist in social practice.

 I am interested in the ecology of people and objects and relationships within a wider landscape.  I elaborate this into interactions, interventions and installations with individuals, groups and organisations — creating settings and programmes of work for meaningful learning and social change. This is an aesthetic practice working with emotions, sensations, power and politics, and the shadow side of new organisational shapes and structures.

In my various roles I lead the Institute’s work bringing creative practice — visual art, dance, performance, poetry — into dialogue with Tavistock methods such as social dreaming, working with the unconscious, and systems psychodynamics, addressing organisational strategy, human relations and the pressures of a changing societal context.
