I am the Professional Development Programmes and Editorial Manager at the Institute. I ensure that all our professional development programmes run smoothly from initial applications to participation in our PD courses, through to graduation. My goal is to help our clients get the most they can out of our short or long courses and have a rewarding and, I like to hope, enjoyable, time with us! If you’re interested in one of our programmes or just want to chat about your professional development – get in touch. My inbox is always open!

If I rewind to 2016, I joined the Institute as an Administrator and spent 4 years working within the administrative team on all aspects of the Institute’s operations including the office and our “work getting” processes. Back then, terms such as “Social Dreaming” “Systems Psychodynamics” “Group Relations” were alien to me but working at the Institute has opened my eyes to the unconscious behaviours and decisions that influence us every day. As part of my role, I also work on our flagship journal – Human Relations. It is one of the aspects of my job I love the most. Our articles span the breadth of social science; one issue can cover migrant workers, impact of home working, gender imbalance on boards – the list really could go on. I encourage you take a read.
