Strategic Thinking, Design and the Theory of Change

Strategic Thinking, Design and the Theory of Change

Join us on 25 May to meet some of the contributors to this new volume

After four years of development and featuring over 30 leading contributors from the evaluation, strategy and design world, we are delighted to host a book launch for the new co-edited book on how Theory of Change can be used as a strategic design tool to foster innovation and impact.

The book applies a range of case studies to explore how Theory of Change can be implemented in projects and programmes at different scales. Bringing together cases from different geographic, social, economic and cultural contexts, it demonstrates how Theory of Change can be adapted and help projects to grow and replicate, and showcases the different ways in which practitioners can utilize it.

We invite evaluators, academics, or practitioners engaged in social change to register for and attend this celebration, which encourages the marriage of theory, design and strategy in our social change interventions, helping them to address pressing global and local challenges from climate change to inequality.

We will offer drinks and catering, with short talks by a book editor, Dr David Drabble.

For a limited time, the first chapter is available for free to download here. Edward Elgar are offering a 50% discount on the book until the end of July: use the discount code SIME50 at checkout.
