Bringing together the public, staff and the Board of NHS England to collaborate on five citizen-generated issues.

On Wednesday 25th November Tavistock Institute colleagues will have an active presence at the NHS Citizen Assembly which brings together over 250 members of the public, staff and the Board of NHS England to discuss five big issues which face the health services and our health and wellbeing.

We have been working hard with the public, NHS England and our partner organisations to develop and build NHS Citizen. The Tavistock Institute NHS Citizen explorations focus mainly on how we can create a system which includes everyone and allows us all to take up an active role in decision making, whether as member of the public, staff in NHS England and the Board of NHS England itself. What needs to change to make it happen?

The NHS Citizen Assembly is one of the spaces where change could be shaped, in open and collaborative sessions.

For more information on the Assembly and the five issues look here, watch the live webstream on the day and follow the debate on twitter #nhscitizen.
