Season’s greetings to our clients, colleagues, national and international partners and friends of the Tavistock Institute of Human Relations – thank you for yet another invigorating year!
In making this card we have chosen to support Clowns Without Borders a charity that aims to bring joy through highly visual and highly silly performances with and for refugee children living through crisis, and for children in the aftermath of disasters, around the world.
Clown’s Without Borders strongly believe that joy brings comfort and hope to children in distress and realise how important it is for a child’s emotional and psychological wellbeing. Laughter not only acts as a relief for children, it also helps alleviate the suffering of adults in times of turmoil. Clowns Without Borders recognises both children and adults have needs beyond the practical, creating a space that enables them to reconnect with the very things that make them human.
This year’s seasonal card was hand-painted and produced by Lucy Walker.
